  • 4 chicken drumstick

Marinade

  • 1 garlic
  • 1 Chili pepper
  • 1 cm ginger
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil

Sauce

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/2 Chili pepper
  • 0.5 cm ginger
  • 1/2 garlic
  • 1 green onion
  • 120 g rice

Instructions

For the marinade:

  1. Put all of the ingredients into a blender and process until you have a homogeneous liquid.
  2. Coat the chicken drumsticks with the marinade in a bowl and cover with cling wrap. Leave in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Baked Chicken Drumsticks:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190 °C).
  2. Once the chicken drumsticks have marinated, cook them in the oven for 50-60 minutes.

For the sauce & rice:

  1. Finely chop the chili pepper and green onion, grate the garlic and ginger, then mix all of the ingredients with the soy sauce, vinegar, lemon juice, and honey.
  2. Wash the rice and boil it in salted water.

To serve

  1. Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven.
  2. Serve the chicken drumsticks with a side of cooked rice and drizzle the sauce over the chicken or use it as a dipping sauce.
  3. Garnish with additional chopped green onions or chili pepper slices if desired.
