Ingredients
- 4-5 salmon fillets skin removed
- 1 teaspoon EACH smoked paprika, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt
- ½ teaspoon EACH oregano, black pepper, red pepper flakes
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- ½ medium onion diced
- 4-5 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes sliced
- ¼ cup fresh basil
- Juice of ½ lemon optional

Instructions
- Pat dry the salmon fillets, combine all the spices in a small bowl, and rub seasoning all over the salmon fillets.
- Heat oil in a large heavy-duty skillet. Place salmon fillets in the skillet and cook 4 minutes per side. Transfer the salmon to a plate and set aside.
- Add butter and onion to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes or until translucent and lightly golden. Add garlic, and cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
- Next, add heavy cream, chicken broth, sun-dried tomatoes, and parmesan. Stir until combined. Taste the sauce and adjust the salt to your liking.
- Return salmon to the sauce and simmer for 2-3 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.
- Turn off heat and garnish with basil and a fresh drizzle of lemon juice.
