Matcha S'mores

Matcha S'mores blend classic campfire flavors with subtle green tea notes by combining toasted marshmallows, graham crackers, and dark or matcha-infused chocolate. The toasted marshmallow provides a golden, soft center surrounded by melted chocolate, all sandwiched between crunchy crackers. This treat offers a balance of sweet, crisp, and slightly bitter matcha flavors, ideal for outdoor or casual gatherings.

Description

The Matcha S'mores recipe adapts traditional s'mores by introducing matcha-flavored ingredients. Toasted marshmallows are browned over a heat source until golden and soft inside. These are then combined with dark chocolate or specially prepared matcha chocolate squares, sandwiched between two graham crackers. The mix of warm marshmallow and melted chocolate contrasts with the crisp graham crackers' texture and the hint of matcha's earthy flavor when chosen.

This simple preparation brings a new dimension to the favorite sweet treat, balancing sweetness with slight bitterness from matcha if used. The method allows for flexibility, using regular or matcha-flavored marshmallows and chocolate as preferred.

Serve immediately after assembling so the marshmallow and chocolate remain warm and melty, providing the classic gooey texture expected of s'mores.
