Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup crushed saltine crackers
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, crushed crackers, milk, onion, bell pepper, eggs, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
- Press the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
- In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread this glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
