Million Dollar Spaghetti

Million Dollar Spaghetti is a layered casserole featuring al dente spaghetti coated in marinara sauce, topped with a hearty mixture of beef, sausage, and savory marinara, then layered with creamy cheeses including cream cheese, sour cream, ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan. The dish bakes to create a rich, indulgent pasta bake with distinct texture layers.

Description

This recipe starts with spaghetti cooked just short of al dente, tossed in marinara to keep the noodles moist. The meat layer combines ground beef and mild Italian sausage cooked with onions, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and additional marinara, providing a robust, savory component.

The creamy cheese layer blends softened cream cheese, sour cream, ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan, delivering richness and a smooth texture contrast to the meat and noodles. The components come together in layers in a baking dish, to be finished in the oven for melding flavors and warming through.

Million Dollar Spaghetti offers a comforting, indulgent meal combining pasta, meats, and several cheese varieties. It’s well suited as a crowd-pleasing main dish for family dinners or gatherings, featuring layers of flavor and creamy texture from the cheese combination.

  3. Turn off the heat and stir in 4 cups of marinara sauce.

Creamy Cheese Layer

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the cream cheese, sour cream, and ricotta cheese. Mix to combine.
  2. Stir in the parmesan cheese and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.

To Assemble

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Add the pasta mixture to the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Evenly distribute the pads of butter on top of the pasta.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture and top of the pasta mixture.
  5. Add the meat mixture on top of the cheese mixture.
