Mini Turtle Cheesecakes

Mini Turtle Cheesecakes feature Oreo cookie bases topped with a smooth cream cheese mixture baked until set, then garnished with pecans, mini chocolate chips, and caramel sauce. They are made in muffin tins for individual servings with a layered texture and sweet, rich flavor.

Description

The recipe begins by placing Oreo cookies at the base of lined muffin tins. A filling made from room temperature cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla is whipped until smooth and poured over the cookies. These are topped with chopped pecans and mini chocolate chips before baking at 3258F for 15 minutes until the cheesecake is set.

After baking and cooling, the cheesecakes are chilled in the refrigerator. The combination includes a crunchy Oreo crust, creamy cheesecake center, nutty pecan bits, sweet chocolate chips, and sticky caramel sauce drizzled on top at serving.

These mini cheesecakes are practical for portion control and convenient for serving as individual desserts. The caramel sauce ties the flavors together, reminiscent of turtle candies.
