Mint Frosting

This frosting combines powdered sugar, softened butter, and mint extract for a creamy, spreadable icing with fresh mint flavor. Milk is added gradually to achieve the desired consistency, and green food coloring gives a classic minty appearance. The texture is smooth and fluffy, suitable for decorating cakes, cupcakes, or other desserts with a cooling taste and festive look.

Description

Mint Frosting blends a large quantity of powdered sugar with softened unsalted butter and mint extract to create a sweet, mint-flavored icing. The ingredients are mixed on medium speed until light and fluffy before milk is added gradually to adjust spreadability. The green hue is achieved with drops of green food coloring, added cautiously to reach the preferred shade without overwhelming the texture.

This frosting is ideal for topping baked goods, providing a smooth, creamy surface with a fresh mint taste. The balance allows the mint flavor to be noticeable but not overpowering, complementing various dessert bases.
