M&M Cookie Bars Recipe
Description
This recipe features a cookie dough made from melted butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla, blended together before adding sifted flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda for leavening and texture. Once the batter is spread in a baking pan, it is topped evenly with regular and mini M&M candies, which add bursts of chocolate and crunch throughout the bars.
By baking at 350°F for 20-25 minutes, the bars develop a golden exterior while remaining soft inside, offering a satisfying chew contrasted by the candy coating. The finished bars can be easily cut into squares for serving and make a colorful dessert or snack.
