Mummy White Chocolate Truffles

Report
Mummy White Chocolate Truffles are smooth white chocolate confections chilled and shaped into truffle balls, with a portion decorated with candy eyes and drizzled white chocolate to mimic mummy bandages. These treats mix creamy white chocolate with heavy cream and butter to create a rich ganache filling, then are chilled, shaped, coated, and set to form festive candy bites.

Description

The recipe starts by simmering heavy cream with butter before adding white chocolate and stirring until melted and smooth. Once cooled and firmed in the refrigerator, the mixture is shaped into balls and chilled. Half the truffles are decorated as "mummies" by melting more white chocolate, piping strips over the truffles, and adding candy eyes for a themed look. The other truffles are dipped in melted white chocolate and sprinkled with white jimmies for a simple finish.

The resulting truffles have a creamy interior with a firm, sweet white chocolate coating. Chilling the ganache before shaping helps maintain form and ease of handling. These truffles are suitable for presenting at themed parties or special occasions needing a sweet, decorative treat.
