Ingredients

Servings

In the delux machine

  • 30 ounces Mango two 15-ounce cans, canned 850g including liquid
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

In the regular machine

  • 15 ounces Mango canned 450g including liquid
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Add mango along with the liquid and lemon juice to a blender and blend on high speed until smooth.
  2. Pour the blended base into an empty Ninja CREAMi container pint, cover, and freeze on a level surface in the freezer for 24 hours.
  3. Remove container from freezer, take off the lid, and place it in the Ninja CREAMi following the manufacturer’s instructions. Select “sorbet” and let it process.
  4. When done, open and quickly stir the mango sorbet. If the mixture is not soft-serve enough, you may need to add a splash or two of water and re-spin. Feel free to repeat until you reach the desired consistency.

Notes

  • If you have bigger cans of mango, go ahead and blend them all, pour up to the pint container fill line, then save the rest of the blended mixture in the fridge to add to yogurt and smoothies.
  • Let it freeze for a full 24 hours. The sorbet base must be fully frozen to process correctly.
  • If you are impatient like me, it’s a good idea to prep and freeze a couple of pints at a time so you won't have to wait for your treat.
  • Frozen treat not smooth enough? Use the re-spin function. And if it’s still not the right texture, simply add a splash of water or juice and re-spin again.
  • Keep your favorite mix-ins stashed in the freezer so they’re frozen and ready to use when you add them.
  • Be sure to place the pint container on a level surface in the freezer.
  • Make sure your machine is assembled correctly and according to the manufacturer's directions before processing.
  • This is a great recipe to serve alongside any of these awesome pool party food ideas!
  • Storage - keep in an airtright container in the freezer for up to a month.
  • There is 1 WW Blue Plan SmartPoint in a serving of this.
