Ninja Creami Pumpkin Ice Cream

  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree 115g
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 -3 tablespoons brown sugar can add more as needed
  • ¾ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice I actually like to use 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Add pumpkin puree, cream, milk, brown sugar, cream cheese and pumpkin pie spice into a blender and blend ingredients until smooth.
  2. Pour the blended base into an empty Ninja CREAMi container pint, cover, and freeze on a level surface in the freezer for 24 hours.
  3. Remove the container from freezer, take off the lid, and place it in the Ninja CREAMi according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Process using the Ice Cream setting.
  4. When done, open and quickly stir. If the mixture is not soft-serve enough, you may need to add a splash or two of cream and re-spin. Feel free to repeat until you reach the desired consistency.

Notes

  • Be sure to allow the mixture to freeze for the full 24 hours. It must be fully frozen in order to process correctly.
  • Prep and freeze several recipes at once so you'll always have a frozen pint ready to process!
  • Use the re-spin function if your ice cream isn't creamy enough. 
  • If after re-spinning it's still not the right texture, add a splash of cream or milk and re-spin again.
  • Storage - keep in a sealed container in the freezer for up to a month.
