Ninja Foodi Baked Potato

The Ninja Foodi Baked Potato recipe yields crispy-skinned potatoes with a soft interior by pressure cooking followed by air frying. Seasoned simply with salt and pepper, and optionally brushed with olive oil, these potatoes become golden and crunchy, ready to be topped with butter or your favorite toppings.

Description

Using the Ninja Foodi, medium-sized potatoes are prepared by first piercing with a fork and seasoning with salt and pepper. They are pressure cooked on a trivet over water for about 20 minutes, which softens the potatoes evenly. After releasing pressure, the potatoes are sliced lengthwise, sprayed with extra virgin olive oil, and air fried for 10 minutes at 200°C to create a crisp, flavorful skin.

This method efficiently combines steam cooking with air frying to produce a baked potato texture without a conventional oven. The potatoes can be served with any toppings you prefer, making them a versatile side dish or snack.

Applying olive oil before air frying is key to achieving crisp, flavorful potato skins.Toppings can be customized according to available ingredients or preferences.
