Ninja Foodi Carrot And Swede Mash

How to cook Ninja Foodi Carrot And Swede Mash. The easiest and quickest ever carrot and swede mash, this is perfect over some mince or served with your roast dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 rutabaga or swede
  • 1.5 kg carrot
  • 480 ml vegetable stock Instant Pot
  • 1 Tbsp thyme
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp butter optional

Instructions

  1. Place 2 cups/480ml of veggie stock into the bottom of your pressure cooker. Then peel and then gradually slice and dice your swede and your carrots into medium sized chunks.
  2. Load into the Ninja and season well with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  3. Next mix with your hands in the Ninja Foodi and then place the lid on the and set the valve to sealing. Pressure cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Do a quick pressure release and then drain any excess liquid with a sieve. And remove the liquid from the cooking pot.
  5. Then using a masher, mash your carrot and swede with some butter and extra salt and pepper. Then serve.

Notes

  • Quantity. You can do a big or a small portion of swede and carrot mash. Note we made a dish of it, and we used 2 swedes.
