Ninja Foodi Sweet Potato Fries

Ninja Foodi Sweet Potato Fries are seasoned with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper before air frying in the Ninja Foodi. The sweet potatoes develop a crisp exterior while staying tender inside, enhanced by the choice of avocado oil for coating. The recipe guides on temperature adjustments and shaking midway for even cooking.

Description

This recipe calls for peeling and slicing sweet potatoes into fries, then tossing them with avocado oil and a spice blend including paprika and garlic powder. Coating the fries evenly ensures a balanced flavor and crispness. Cooking is done in the Ninja Foodi air fryer setting, beginning at 160°C (320°F) for 20 minutes, then increasing to 200°C (400°F) for an additional 5 minutes after shaking the basket to promote even browning.

The result is fries with a golden, crispy surface and a tender inside, suitable for serving with preferred dipping sauces. The recipe notes recommend using avocado oil but mention olive oil as an alternative, and indicate the cook time suffices even if doubling the sweet potatoes.

This preparation makes a practical and flavorful side dish or snack, balancing sweetness with savory and smoky notes from paprika and garlic, while the air fryer method keeps the fries less oily than deep-frying.

  • 600 g sweet potato
  • 2 Tsp avocado oil

  • salt
  • black pepper

Instructions

  1. Grab your sweet potatoes and peel and slice into sweet potato fries.

  4. Load your sweet potato fries onto plates and serve with your favourite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Avocado oil is preferred for coating the fries, but extra virgin olive oil can be substituted.
