No-Bake Banana Fudge Pie
Description
This pie starts with a chocolate fudge layer prepared by melting semi-sweet chocolate with milk and butter, spread evenly into a graham cracker crust and chilled to set firmly. Ripe banana slices form a fresh, soft layer above the chocolate. Vanilla pudding, prepared from instant mix, is poured over the bananas, then topped with fluffy whipped topping.
The dessert is refrigerated several hours for the pudding and topping to set fully, creating a smooth, creamy texture contrasting with the firm crust and soft banana slices. Additional banana slices and chocolate shavings can decorate the top before serving, adding visual appeal and extra flavor.
Leftover pie should be refrigerated and consumed within three days. It can also be frozen before adding the whipped topping for longer storage up to three months, thawed overnight before finishing.
