Additional vanilla wafers decorate the top, adding a crisp element. To prevent banana discoloration, bananas are added just before serving.

  • 1 Graham Cracker Crust
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pkg vanilla pudding mix 3.4 oz package, instant
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 bananas sliced
  • 20-30 vanilla wafers

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth.
  2. Add in the and sugar and combine until smooth.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and vanilla, beating until medium peaks are formed. Set aside.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix.
  5. Whisk until smooth and place bowl into refrigerator for about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Take pudding mixture and fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Pour half the filling into the graham cracker crust.
  8. Place a layer of sliced bananas and vanilla wafers over the filling.
  9. Pour remaining filling on top of layered banana/wafer and smooth over evenly.
  10. Place additional vanilla wafers on top of cake in pattern desired. *do not add bananas until serving as they will turn brown
  11. Refrigerator cheesecake for at least 3 hours prior to serving.
  12. Add desired amount of banana slices on top (optional) and serve! Enjoy!
