Description
This recipe uses peanut butter cups as the body of the bats and Oreo cookies split in half to serve as wings. Removing the icing from the Oreos ensures a better texture and easier cutting. Ingredients
- 8 peanut butter cups
- 16 Oreo cookies
- 32 Candy Eyeballs
- 1 tablespoon Icing
Instructions
- Lay the peanut butter cups out on a plate or tray.
- Separate the Oreo cookies and remove the icing from between them before cutting the cookies in half to form the wings.
- Put a small amount of icing on the back of the Oreos and stick them onto the Peanut Butter cups to form your bat shape.
- Dab a little icing on the bottom of each candy eyeball, stick two onto each of the cookie cups and serve.
Notes
- Use other chocolate-based cookies if you prefer a different base for the bats.
- Gently twist Oreos to separate the cookies without breaking them excessively.
- Keep extra Oreo cookies on hand in case some crumble when removing icing or cutting.
- Double or triple the quantities when preparing for larger groups or parties.
