No-Bake Bat Cookies

No-Bake Bat Cookies create a fun Halloween treat by assembling peanut butter cups with Oreo cookie wings and candy eyeballs without heating or baking. The recipe relies on simple assembly using icing to adhere the parts, resulting in a playful bat-shaped cookie that's easy to prepare and visually festive for parties or seasonal snacks.

Description

This recipe uses peanut butter cups as the body of the bats and Oreo cookies split in half to serve as wings. Removing the icing from the Oreos ensures a better texture and easier cutting. The wings are attached to the peanut butter cups with a small dab of icing. Candy eyeballs add character and complete the bat look when affixed with a bit of icing.

The cookies do not require baking, making the process quick and accessible. The texture combines the chocolatey richness of peanut butter cups with the crunchy Oreo wings. The candy eyeballs add a playful touch suitable for Halloween celebrations, making these treats decorative as well as tasty.

These bats are best served fresh but can be stored briefly before serving. They make an easy dessert or snack for parties and fun family activities.

If desired, the recipe allows substitution of the cookie base with other chocolate-based cookies. Extra cookies are suggested to compensate for crumbling during separation and cutting.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 8 peanut butter cups
  • 16 Oreo cookies
  • 32 Candy Eyeballs
  • 1 tablespoon Icing

Instructions

  1. Lay the peanut butter cups out on a plate or tray.
  2. Separate the Oreo cookies and remove the icing from between them before cutting the cookies in half to form the wings.
  3. Put a small amount of icing on the back of the Oreos and stick them onto the Peanut Butter cups to form your bat shape.
  4. Dab a little icing on the bottom of each candy eyeball, stick two onto each of the cookie cups and serve.

Notes

  • Use other chocolate-based cookies if you prefer a different base for the bats.
  • Gently twist Oreos to separate the cookies without breaking them excessively.
  • Keep extra Oreo cookies on hand in case some crumble when removing icing or cutting.
  • Double or triple the quantities when preparing for larger groups or parties.
