No-Bake Birthday Cake Protein Bites Recipe
Description
No-Bake Birthday Cake Protein Bites combine vanilla-flavored whey protein, low-calorie sweetener, coconut flour, melted coconut oil, and water, mixed into a dough that can be rolled into tablespoon-sized balls. The optional sprinkles add a colorful, celebratory touch. The bites require refrigeration to firm up before eating and can be enjoyed as a portable, protein-rich snack.
The recipe allows flexibility with protein choice, including vegan options, and supports swapping coconut flour for almond flour. The texture is dense but tender due to the coconut flour and oil, while sweetness is controlled with the chosen sweetener. These bites can be frozen for longer storage and thawed before serving without losing texture.
The customization options include adding fiber sources like flaxseed meal or hemp hearts and using different types of sprinkles. Honey is not recommended as a substitute sweetener in this preparation.
Ingredients
- 3 coops whey protein vanilla flavor
- 2 Tablespoons sweetener low-calorie
- 4 Tablespoons coconut flour
- 2 ½ Tablespoons coconut oil melted
- 6 Tablespoons water
- ¼ Cup Sprinkles optional
Instructions
- Place the protein powder, sweetener, coconut flour, coconut oil and water in a bowl; stir until a dough forms. You may need to add more water, 1 teaspoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
- Form tablespoon-sized balls of the dough.
- Place the sprinkles on a plate and roll the balls in sprinkles.
- Refrigerate until ready to eat.
Notes

- Add fiber by mixing in flaxseed meal or hemp hearts if desired.
- Chocolate sprinkles can substitute for birthday cake sprinkles.
- Honey is not advised as a sweetener substitution in this recipe.
