No-Bake Brownie Protein Bites
Description
This recipe mixes almond flour and chocolate-flavored whey protein powder with cocoa powder, almond butter, honey, and water to form a thick dough. The mixture is shaped into small balls about one inch in size, then rolled in mini dark chocolate chips, which stick to the surface adding extra chocolate flavor and a slight texture contrast.
The bites are chilled in the refrigerator until set, creating a chewy, dense bite that resembles a no-bake brownie taste and texture. They require no baking, making them quick to prepare. The almond butter and flour provide a mild nuttiness, and the cocoa powder and chocolate chips supply a deep chocolate flavor. The honey acts as a natural sweetener binding the ingredients together.
These protein bites work well as snacks or small dessert alternatives. They can be stored refrigerated for up to 10 days or frozen for several months. Variations are possible using other nut butters, protein powders, or sweeteners based on preference or dietary needs.
