No Bake Cheesecake Cups
Description
No Bake Cheesecake Cups combine a graham cracker crust of crushed crumbs, brown sugar, and melted butter pressed into dessert cups, topped with a fluffy cream cheese filling whipped with sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice. The addition of whipped topping lightens the texture. After assembling, the cups chill for several hours to firm up. Serving garnishes can include fresh berries, fruit pie filling, or other preferred toppings, providing a fresh contrast to the creamy base.
The dessert is served chilled, making it a refreshingly cool treat that avoids baking entirely. Its individual portions are convenient for sharing or entertaining, and the creamy filling offers a smooth, tangy flavor balanced by the sweet crust.
This recipe can be prepared in advance and refrigerated up to four days but is not suited for freezing. To ensure a smooth filling, use room-temperature cream cheese and, optionally, gently toast the crust briefly in an oven if using oven-safe cups. Various garnishes like cherry pie filling, lemon curd, or chocolate ganache allow customization to personal tastes or occasions.
