No Bake Christmas Oreo Balls Recipe
Description
No Bake Christmas Oreo Balls consist of crushed Oreo cookies blended with full-fat cream cheese to form a smooth dough. The mixture is shaped into small balls, chilled to firm up, then dipped in melted chocolate which coats each ball evenly. The chocolate-coated balls are garnished with toppings like coconut flakes, nuts, sprinkles, or crushed peppermint candy to add texture and festivity.
The balls have a creamy, sweet, and slightly tangy center from the cream cheese paired with the crunchy chocolate cookie taste. Chilling the dough helps it hold shape when dipped. The no-bake method simplifies preparation, while the chocolate coating adds a smooth, shiny finish that firms as it sets.
These Oreo Balls make great holiday treats or gifts and can be served chilled. They complement holiday parties, dessert tables, or cookie exchanges. The recipe is easy to adapt with different coatings or garnishes for varied flavors and textures.
If the dough is sticky and hard to scoop, refrigerate it wrapped for 30 minutes to make rolling easier. Prepare and store them in the refrigerator for best texture and freshness.
