No Bake Cookies

No Bake Cookies mix butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and milk boiled briefly to create a rich, chocolatey base. Adding vanilla, creamy peanut butter, and quick oats before setting results in chewy, fudgy cookies without baking. These dense, sweet treats are convenient to prepare and offer classic flavors, ideal for quick desserts or snack times.

Description

The recipe starts by combining salted butter, granulated sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, and milk in a medium saucepan. This mixture is heated over medium heat until it reaches a full boil and is boiled for 60 seconds without stirring, which is key to proper cookie texture. Once removed from heat, vanilla extract, creamy peanut butter, and quick oats are stirred in to form a thick, textured batter.

This batter is then portioned onto parchment-lined baking sheets or into cupcake liners and left at room temperature until set, usually 20 to 30 minutes. Refrigeration can speed this process. The finished no-bake cookies are chewy, moist, and intensely chocolate-peanut buttery, offering a classic treat without oven use.

Storing in airtight containers at room temperature helps maintain freshness.
