No-Churn Pineapple Ice Cream

No-Churn Pineapple Ice Cream uses whipped heavy cream combined with sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, lime juice and zest, and crushed pineapple to create a creamy frozen dessert without an ice cream maker. The tropical pineapple and citrus components add brightness and tang, balancing the sweetness, resulting in a refreshing and easy-to-make treat perfect for warm days.

Description

This No-Churn Pineapple Ice Cream blends cold heavy whipping cream beaten to soft peaks with sweetened condensed milk, lime zest, lime juice, and vanilla extract for a smooth, creamy base. Folded in is crushed pineapple, providing tropical flavor and texture throughout the mixture. The ice cream is poured into a freezer-safe container and frozen for several hours until firm enough to scoop.

The preparation avoids traditional churning, relying on whipped cream to incorporate air and achieve a light texture despite the rich dairy ingredients. The lime adds a subtle acidity that brightens the overall flavor, complementing the sweet pineapple. Its simplicity and minimal ingredients make it accessible for home cooks wanting a homemade frozen dessert without specialized equipment.

Once frozen, the ice cream softens slightly at room temperature before serving to allow easy scooping. It pairs well with fresh fruit or as a tropical dessert option after a meal, especially during warm weather or as a casual treat.
