Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies
Description
Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies blend classic cookie ingredients like flour, butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla with chocolate chips to provide texture and sweetness. Incorporating a swirl of Nutella throughout the dough introduces a creamy hazelnut layer that sets these cookies apart. The dough is carefully mixed—first combining dry ingredients, then wet, and folding in chocolate chips and Nutella by hand for a marbled effect. Baked at a moderate temperature, the cookies develop lightly crisp edges with a moist, chewy interior.
The chocolate chips provide concentrated bursts of chocolate, contrasting with the smooth Nutella ribbons. This dual chocolate and hazelnut flavor along with the tender structure makes the cookies a versatile treat for casual snacking or serving with milk or coffee. They hold up well several days at room temperature when stored airtight.
Storing leftover dough in the refrigerator or freezer extends freshness, allowing baking in smaller batches as desired. Baking for 15–20 minutes ensures the cookies are fully set but remain soft inside, with golden coloring around the edges signaling readiness.
