Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 ½ cups light brown sugar packed
  • 2 egg large
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 cups old fashioned oats
  • 3/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 ¼ cups milk chocolate chips Guittard or Ghirardelli are my favorite
  • 1 ½ cups Toffee bits Heath or Skor bits

Instructions

  1. Combine butter and sugar and beat until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
  2. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until well combined.
  3. Add baking soda, salt and flour and mix until just combined. Add oatmeal and continue mixing until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips and toffee bits.
  4. Using a large cookie scoop, drop onto lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 9 to 10 minutes (cookies may still look slightly underbaked) . Remove from oven and let set on cookie sheets for about 3-4 minutes. Do not over bake!
