One-Pan Beef & Broccoli Recipe

This dish combines thinly sliced beef with tender broccoli florets in a savory sauce made from garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Cooked in one pan, the beef becomes golden brown while the broccoli softens just enough, resulting in a balanced mixture of textures. The sauce binds the ingredients with a slightly thickened glaze, making it ideal to serve hot alongside rice for a simple yet flavorful meal.

Description

The One-Pan Beef & Broccoli Recipe starts with thin slices of beef and bite-sized broccoli pieces cooked separately in olive oil to control texture. The sauce is prepared from pressed garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, hot water, corn starch, and sesame oil, creating a mild, savory, and lightly sweet base with a glossy finish. After browning the beef, the sauce is added and brought to a gentle simmer, then broccoli is reintroduced to temper the flavors and combine the components. This technique ensures the broccoli retains some firmness while absorbing the sauce. The recipe finishes by serving the dish hot, paired naturally with rice which helps balance the dish's flavors and textures.
