One-Pan Creamy Gnocchi, Sun-Dried Tomatoes And Peas
Description
Starting by melting butter in a skillet, garlic slices are softened briefly to release aroma without browning. Sun-dried tomatoes, white wine, and Dijon mustard are added and cooked to meld their sharp and tangy flavors. Gnocchi and thawed peas are incorporated with heavy cream, then covered to cook gently at medium heat ensuring the gnocchi become tender and soak up the creamy sauce. Parmesan cheese is stirred in towards the end to add a savory richness and slightly thicken the sauce.
The resulting dish combines the chewy, pillowy gnocchi with a creamy and slightly wine-accented sauce that balances the acidity of sun-dried tomatoes and the sweetness of peas. The garlic provides subtle depth, while Dijon mustard offers a mild piquancy. This one-pan meal can be served immediately to enjoy the contrast of textures and layered flavors.
This recipe is straightforward and suitable for a quick, comforting lunch or dinner. The simplicity of cooking all components in one pan makes it easy to prepare with minimal dishes.
