One Pan Sausage Alfredo
Description
This recipe begins by cooking cut Italian sausage until browned and cooked through. After removing the sausage, butter and minced garlic are sautéed briefly in the same pot. Heavy cream and shredded Parmesan are added and whisked to form a thickened alfredo sauce. Seasoning with salt and white pepper enhances the sauce’s flavor. Cooked pasta (such as ziti or penne) and strips of roasted red bell pepper are stirred in with the sausage to combine flavors and textures thoroughly. The parsley garnish adds a fresh herbal note to the finished dish.
The result is a rich, creamy pasta with tender sausage pieces and sweet roasted peppers, all delivered with minimal pots and pans used. It is hearty and satisfying, suitable as a main course dinner.
Using the same pot to cook the pasta can simplify preparation further if using a large enough saucepan or Dutch oven. Leftovers can be reheated gently to preserve sauce texture.
