One-Pot Beef Stroganoff Pasta Recipe
Description
The recipe starts by sautéing diced onions and mushrooms together in neutral cooking oil until softened and browned, building the foundational flavors. Bite-sized pieces of beef are then added and cooked until golden. Two cups of boiling water combined with beef base concentrate provide a savory simmering liquid allowing the beef to tenderize over approximately two hours.
A mixture of flour whisked with cold water is incorporated to thicken the stew into a gravy-like consistency. Whipping cream is stirred in to enrich and balance the sauce's texture and flavor. The sauce simmers for about 15 minutes to thicken further before adding cooked pasta. Once combined, the stroganoff simmers an additional 10 minutes so the pasta soaks the creamy sauce, finishing the dish.
This recipe yields a hearty meal with tender beef, earthy mushrooms, and a creamy sauce coating soft pasta. It can also be served over mashed potatoes or rice for variety.
