One Pot Creamy Mushroom Chicken Spinach Pasta
Description
One Pot Creamy Mushroom Chicken Spinach Pasta features diced chicken breast cooked until tender, then set aside. The dish continues by sautéing diced onion, garlic, and sliced cremini mushrooms to build flavor. Adding chicken broth and heavy cream creates a silky sauce base that cooks the farfalle pasta to al dente. Fresh spinach stirred in at the end wilts gently to preserve color and texture. Parmesan cheese enriches the final dish with a nutty, salty finish. This technique keeps all flavors combined and ingredients moist throughout the cooking process.
The flavor is creamy and savory, balanced by the mild sweetness of onions and earthiness from mushrooms. The chicken provides heft and protein, making this a complete meal. The farfalle holds the sauce well, giving each bite a satisfying mix of pasta, vegetables, and tender chicken.
Serve this pasta hot, optionally topped with extra Parmesan. It works well as a comforting weeknight dinner or for small gatherings. The recipe notes suggest swapping out the spinach for kale or Swiss chard for variation.
