Description
One Skillet Beef Stir Fry features thin sirloin strips quickly cooked in vegetable oil to retain tenderness. Vegetables are stir-fried separately until crisp-tender to preserve texture. A pre-made seasoning mix is combined with water and soy sauce to create a flavorful sauce base.
The sauce is added to the skillet and brought to a boil to thicken slightly before returning the beef, ensuring the meat finishes cooking and absorbs the sauce. This method keeps the stir fry's characteristic contrast of succulent beef and crunchy vegetables. Rapid cooking on medium-high heat prevents overcooking.

Ingredients
- 1 package seasoning mix one pack, McCormick® ONE brand
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 lb sirloin steak cut into thin strips
- 4 cups vegetables assorted cut-up
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients for the McCormick® One Skillet Beef Stir Fry.
- Mix water, soy sauce and Seasoning Mix in a medium bowl. Set aside.
- Heat 1tsp of oil in a large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add beef; stir fry 3 minutes or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet.
- Heat remaining oil in a skillet. Add vegetables; stir fry 4 minutes or until tender-crisp. Stir the sauce mixture. Add to the skillet.
- Stirring constantly, bring to boil on medium heat. Return beef to skillet. Cook for 1 minute or until the sauce is slightly thickened.
