Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 lb ground beef lean
  • 1 cup onion diced, sweet yellow
  • 1 cup green bell pepper seeded and diced
  • 1 cup carrot diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 .5 oz can diced tomatoes petite
  • 1 oz can tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 ⅔ cup water
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Italian seasoning golden
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • kosher salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste, cracked
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni uncooked

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking the meat up as it cooks, until browned, about 6 minutes. Add the onion, bell pepper, and carrot, and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add all the remaining ingredients, except the macaroni, and stir gently to combine. Cover, and let simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Stir in the macaroni, cover once more, and let simmer for another additional 20 minutes, or until the macaroni is tender. Remove from heat, uncover, and let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
