Oreo Balls
Description
Oreo Balls start with processing Oreo cookies into fine crumbs, then mixing in cream cheese to bind the crumbs into a smooth dough. This dough is rolled into evenly sized spheres and chilled in the freezer or refrigerator for 1-2 hours to firm. The chilling helps the balls hold their shape when dipped in coatings.
After chilling, the balls are dipped into melted coatings such as chocolate, peanut butter, or white chocolate for flavor variety and a firm exterior. Optional decorations can be added on top before the coating sets.
Storing Oreo Balls frozen preserves their texture and chill, making them a refreshing treat served cold. They are simple to make and require minimal baking or none, ideal for parties or quick desserts.
