Oreo Bars

Oreo Bars combine cocoa-flavored dough with chunks of Oreo cookies and white chocolate chips for a rich and indulgent treat. The texture balances soft baked dough with bits of crunchy cookie, creating a layered chocolate experience. These bars are convenient to bake in a single pan and can be frozen for later enjoyment.

Description

These Oreo Bars start with a blend of all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt mixed into a batter containing creamed butter, brown and granulated sugars, vanilla, and egg. Chopped Oreo cookies and white chocolate chips are folded into the dough before pressing it into a prepared pan. Baking at 350°F results in a soft yet slightly crisp bar with pockets of Oreo crunch and sweet bursts of white chocolate.

The dessert is easy to slice and serve for casual snacking or sharing. The bars benefit from even baking until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, indicating doneness without overbaking.

After cooling, the bars can be stored in a freezer-safe container for up to three months, allowing for convenient make-ahead or longer-term storage.
