Oreo Brownies
Description
This recipe uses a packaged brownie mix blended with eggs and melted butter, enhanced by adding white chocolate chips for bursts of creaminess. Baking in a 9x9 pan results in a fudgy, chocolaty base once fully cooled. The frosting is made by whipping cream cheese and butter until fluffy, then incorporating powdered sugar, vanilla, milk, and finely chopped Oreo cookies for sweetness and cookie crunch.
The frosting spreads easily over the cooled brownies creating a creamy layer decorated with additional Oreo crumbles. Together, the components combine soft, dense brownie texture with a smooth, slightly tangy frosting and crispy cookie topping. These bars serve well sliced for dessert or sharing at gatherings.
