Description
Oreo Dirt Cake starts by crushing Oreo cookies finely in a food processor. Separately, softened cream cheese is whipped until smooth before instant vanilla pudding mix and milk are added and blended together until consistent. Cool Whip is folded into the pudding mixture to create a light, creamy filling.
The dessert is assembled in layers, beginning and ending with the Oreo crumbs to create the "dirt" appearance, with the creamy pudding in between. Gummy worms on top add a whimsical touch, making it a popular choice for casual gatherings or kids’ parties. This no-bake dessert requires chilling to set, and the pudding layer can be prepared a day ahead for convenience.

Ingredients
- 80 Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 2 boxes vanilla pudding mix 3-4 oz each, instant
- 4 cups milk
- 12 oz Cool Whip
- 1 pack gummy worms
Instructions
- In a food processor, turn Oreos into Oreo crumbs.
- Cream softened cream cheese until smooth with either a hand mixer or in a stand mixer.
- Add instant pudding mix and milk to the cream cheese mixture and mix until well combined.
- Fold in the Cool Whip until the mixture is completely mixed together.
- Layer dirt and pudding in a glass trifle bowl, beginning and ending with dirt.
- Top with gummy worms and serve chilled.
Notes
- Mix pudding layer up to a day before assembling; refrigerate until ready to use.
- For added fun, place gummy worms inside the pudding layers, not just on top.
