Oreo Fluff Recipe

Oreo Fluff is a no-bake dessert that combines buttermilk, instant cookies and cream pudding mix, Cool Whip, and chopped Oreos to create a creamy, fluffy treat with crunchy cookie pieces. The mixture is chilled to set and makes a refreshing and easy dessert. Saving some Oreos for garnish provides extra texture and visual appeal just before serving.

Description

Oreo Fluff Recipe uses buttermilk mixed with instant cookies and cream pudding powder to create the base for a light, creamy dessert. Folded into this base is Cool Whip, which adds volume and smoothness without the need for heavy cream or egg-based whipped cream.

Chopped Oreos bring a crunchy contrast to the fluffy texture, enhancing both flavor and mouthfeel. Some Oreos are reserved to sprinkle on top immediately before serving so they retain their crunch. The dish is refrigerated after preparation to allow the pudding mix to fully thicken and the flavors to meld.

This dessert is convenient as it uses instant pudding mix rather than cooked pudding, and the Cool Whip maintains stability over homemade whipped cream. It can be made ahead, but for best texture, Oreos should be added just before serving to avoid sogginess.

  • 2 boxes instant cookies and creme pudding mix 4.2 oz each
  • 16 oz Cool Whip
