The milk quantity can be adjusted to achieve the preferred shake thickness, making this recipe adaptable. Allowing the ice cream to soften slightly before blending improves mixability and smoothness. Both preparation styles result in a rich, sweet drink with distinct cookie elements.
This milkshake serves well as a dessert drink or snack on hot days and can be garnished with additional chocolate sauce or crumbled cookies to enhance texture and flavor.

Ingredients
For blender milkshakes:
- 4 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 ½ cups milk 354mL
- 10 Oreo cookies
For Ninja Creami Milkshake
- 2 ½ cups vanilla ice cream
- ¼ cup milk 59ml
- 6 Oreo cookies crushed
For garnish:
- Whipped Cream
- 4 Oreos cookies
Instructions
Make Regular Milshake
- Blend ice cream, milk, and Oreos in a high-powered blender until smooth. It will be very thick.
- Pour into glasses.
- Garnish each milkshake with whipped cream and additional Oreo cookies.
Make Ninja Creami Oreo Milkshake
- Scoop the ice cream directly into your empty Ninja CREAMi pint container and then use a spoon to make a 4cm well in the in the ice cream.
- Add the milk and the crushed oreo into the well and then close the lid.
- Follow the instruction to place the tub in the machine and lock it into place.
- Select full and then milkshake, then press the dial and let it process.
- Once done, check if you want to add any mix ins or if you need to reprocess.
- Pour into milkshake cups and garnish with chocolate sauce, crumbled Oreos, whipped cream, etc.
Notes
- Allow ice cream to soften at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before blending for best texture.
- Adjust milk amount to control milkshake thickness—more milk for thinner, less for thicker shakes.
- Reserve some Oreo cookies to garnish the finished milkshake for added texture and presentation.
