Outrageously Amazing One-Bowl 5-Ingredient Brownies

These brownies are made with only five main ingredients mixed in one bowl, featuring melted dark chocolate combined with butter, sugar, eggs, and flour. The result is a rich, chewy brownie with a fudgy texture thanks to the dark chocolate and careful mixing. Baking in a single dish keeps preparation straight-forward, ideal for a straightforward homemade treat.

Description

Outrageously Amazing One-Bowl 5-Ingredient Brownies rely on high-quality dark or bittersweet chocolate melted with butter to provide a deeply chocolate flavor and smooth base. Sugar and eggs add sweetness and structure, while flour is folded in gently to avoid overmixing that can create cakey rather than chewy brownies. Baking in a 9x9 inch dish yields brownies with soft centers and slightly firmer edges.

The texture is chewy and moist rather than cakey, delivered by not overworking the batter and melting the chocolate properly. Allowing the brownies to cool adequately before cutting ensures cleaner slices and better texture.
