Oven-Baked Salmon
Description
This Oven-Baked Salmon features a whole salmon fillet coated in a marinade combining olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic, kosher salt, coarse black pepper, and a hint of paprika. The foil packet traps steam and keeps the fish moist during the 15 to 18-minute bake at 375 degrees, gently cooking the salmon without drying it out.
The texture is tender, with the seasoning lending subtle tang, savoriness, and gentle spice. Before serving, fresh chopped parsley is sprinkled over the salmon adding herbaceous freshness and color.
This preparation is straightforward and effective for producing moist salmon with balanced seasonings and minimal cleanup. Serving with simple sides complements the focus on the fish.
