Oven Roasted Turkey Tenderloin

This recipe features a simple oven-roasted turkey tenderloin seasoned with a blend of garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, oregano, black pepper, and salt. Butter pats placed on top help keep the meat moist during roasting at 400°F. The seasoning infuses the tenderloin with balanced savory and herbal notes, producing a juicy and tender result.

Description

The Oven Roasted Turkey Tenderloin is prepared by rubbing a dry spice blend evenly over the surface of a 1.5-pound turkey tenderloin. The seasoning mix includes garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme leaves, oregano, black pepper, and salt to create a well-rounded flavor profile. Placing small pats of butter on top of the tenderloin before roasting adds richness and moisture as it melts during cooking.

Roasting takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes at 400°F, depending on the tenderloin size, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F to ensure safe consumption. The final texture is tender with a flavorful crust formed by the spices and butter.

This straightforward roast is convenient for a nutritious main dish and pairs well with various sides such as vegetables, potatoes, or grains. It can be cooked directly on a baking sheet, making cleanup simple.
