Overnight Crock Pot Apple Pie Oatmeal combines steel-cut oats and peeled cubed apples cooked slowly with cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and milk. This hands-off method yields warm, creamy oatmeal infused with softly tender apple pieces and classic apple pie spices. Set and forget overnight, the oatmeal is ready in the morning for an easy, comforting breakfast with a lightly sweetened, spiced flavor.

Description

{Overnight} Crock Pot Apple Pie Oatmeal features peeled, cubed apples combined with steel-cut oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and milk in a slow cooker. The ingredients are stirred together and cooked on low heat for three hours, then left on warm for the remainder of the night. This extended gentle cooking softens the oats and apples thoroughly while blending the spices and sweetness into a cohesive dish.

The oatmeal achieves a creamy texture with tender apple chunks distributed throughout. The use of warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg provides familiar apple pie character without the crust. Brown sugar adds subtle sweetness that can be adjusted by adding more at serving.

Served hot in individual bowls with an optional sprinkle of extra brown sugar, this oatmeal makes a convenient and warming breakfast. The slow cooker method allows preparation the night before, leaving a ready-to-eat nutritious meal in the morning, simplifying busy mornings.
