Panzanella Caprese Salad
Description
The Panzanella Caprese Salad combines greens and sliced tomatoes as a base, layered with burrata mozzarella whose creamy interior gently spills onto the vegetables. Surrounding this centerpiece are slices of Italian or French bread that provide crispness. Olive oil and balsamic vinegar dress the salad, enhancing the mild flavors with brightness and depth. Pine nuts add a subtle nutty crunch and lightly toasted note. Salt and cracked pepper season the composition to taste.
This salad is well suited as a starter or companion to main dishes during seasonal or warm-weather meals, benefiting from its balance of creamy cheese and fresh vegetables paired with hearty bread. It can be served at room temperature for best flavor.
