Paprika Potato Wedges

These Paprika Potato Wedges are oven-baked until crisp and golden-brown, coated with olive oil, paprika, granulated garlic, salt, and black pepper. The wedges have a tender inside with a lightly spiced, slightly smoky flavor from the paprika, making them a versatile side dish. The simple seasoning allows the natural potato flavor to shine while providing a pleasant color and mild kick.

Description

Paprika Potato Wedges combines large potato wedges coated in olive oil and a blend of paprika, granulated garlic, salt, and black pepper. The preparation involves cutting washed potatoes into wedges (keeping the skin on for texture and nutrients, if preferred), then shaking them in a sealed bag with the seasonings to evenly coat. Baking at a high temperature ensures the wedges develop a crisp, golden exterior and a soft interior.

This recipe uses basic spices to give a subtle smoky and garlicky taste, making these wedges suitable as a side for many main courses or as a snack served with your preferred sauce.

The straightforward approach in this method ensures even roasting without complicated steps; simply bake until the potatoes reach the desired crispness, which usually takes about 35 minutes. Serving immediately after baking is recommended for the best texture.

  6. Serve with the sauce of your choice.
