Peanut Butter and Jelly Blondies
Description
This blondie recipe starts by creaming peanut butter, softened butter, and sugars until fluffy. Eggs and vanilla bring richness and moisture, then flour, baking powder, and salt are added for structure and leavening. The batter is spread evenly into a prepared pan, with spoonfuls of strawberry jam dotted on top. Baking at 350 degrees until set ensures a moist center with slight crisp edges.
The result showcases a chewy texture with a pronounced peanut butter flavor offset by the sweet and slightly tart strawberry jam. The jam swirls through the blondies, giving bursts of fruitiness and color.
These blondies work well cut into squares for snack bars, dessert plates, or lunchbox treats, providing a nostalgic flavor combination in a portable format.
