  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • For the Peanut Butter Glaze:
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat & Prep – Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients – In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Step 3: Cream Butter & Sugars – In another bowl, beat butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, then mix in mashed bananas.
  4. Step 4: Combine & Bake – Gradually add dry ingredients, alternating with buttermilk. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Step 5: Make the Glaze – Whisk together peanut butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Step 6: Glaze & Serve – Pour glaze over the cooled cake. Slice and enjoy!
