Peanut Butter Banana Green Smoothie
Description
This Peanut Butter Banana Green Smoothie features a blend of frozen banana for natural sweetness and creaminess, peanut butter for richness and protein, vanilla protein powder for added nutrition, and baby spinach for a mild green boost. Almond milk (or other unsweetened vanilla milk) thins the mixture to a smooth consistency. Blending all ingredients together creates a thick, creamy smoothie with a balance of sweet and nutty flavors alongside subtle earthiness from the spinach. It's a convenient and filling option for a quick meal or snack, providing a nutritious start or refreshment with minimal preparation.
Ingredients
- 1/2 banana large, frozen
- 1-2 Tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 vanilla protein powder scoop
- 3/4 cup almond milk or other milk, cold, unsweetened, vanilla
- 2 baby spinach handfuls
Instructions
- Add all ingredient into a high powered blender and blend until smooth. If the smoothie seems too thick you can add a splash more almond milk. Once the consistency is to your liking, pour into a glass and enjoy!
Notes
- Using powdered peanut butter alternatives like PB2 reduces calories and fat while maintaining peanut flavor.
- Adjust almond milk quantity to achieve your preferred smoothie thickness.
