Peanut Butter Blondies

These peanut butter blondies are one of the best bar desserts out there! Just wait til you get a taste of all that peanut butter!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter creamy
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 1/3 cups brown sugar packed
  • 3 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 36 mini Reese's peanut butter cups
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and eggs until well blended.
  3. Mix in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Cut 21 peanut butter cups into quarters and gently stir into brownie batter along with the chocolate chips.
  5. Spread into baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a tester comes out fairly clean.
  6. Remove from oven and immediately press remaining 15 peanut butter cups into the top of the brownies in 3 rows of 5.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting and serving.
