Peanut Butter Fudge

Peanut Butter Fudge combines creamy peanut butter with brown sugar, butter, milk, and vanilla, sweetened with powdered sugar to form a rich, smooth confection. The fudge sets firmly after refrigeration, offering a dense, sweet treat with the distinctive flavor and smooth texture of classic peanut butter sweets.

Description

This fudge begins by lining an 8x8 pan with foil buttered to prevent sticking. Butter is melted and combined with packed brown sugar and whole milk, brought to a brief boil while whisking constantly to dissolve the sugar and develop the fudge base. After removing from heat, creamy peanut butter and vanilla extract are blended in, then powdered sugar is beaten in using a mixer until fully incorporated and smooth.

The mixture is pressed into the prepared pan and refrigerated for three to four hours until firm. The resulting fudge cuts into squares with a dense, creamy texture and a balance of sweet, buttery, and peanut flavors. The recipe focuses on using creamy, not natural, peanut butter for a consistent texture.
