Peanut Butter Fudge
Description
This Peanut Butter Fudge uses powdered sugar, light brown sugar, butter, and whole milk cooked together until the sugars dissolve and the mixture boils. Once removed from heat, creamy peanut butter and vanilla are stirred in to create a smooth, thick fudge base. The mixture is poured into a greased pan and allowed to cool to room temperature before chilling in the refrigerator to firm up completely.
The finished fudge has a dense and creamy texture with the unmistakable richness of peanut butter. It can be cut into squares for serving. Optional additions such as chopped nuts or chocolate chips can be mixed in just before the fudge sets to add variety and texture.
Store peanut butter fudge in an airtight container refrigerated for up to two weeks, or freeze in freezer-safe packaging for several months. Thaw in the refrigerator before enjoying.
